Fundamental Concepts of 8-Bit Sound Design

When I was creating my 8-bit sound pack I learned a lot of fundamental concepts that helped shape the direction of my sound design. These fundamental concepts are the building blocks for creating 8-bit sound design.

The most basic fundamental concepts of 8-bit sound design is creating patterns such as scales, arpeggios, and intervals at a fast tempo. Other fundamentals include adjusting certain parameters such as the glide (or legato), the envelope, and the step sequencer.
